Update your High School Course Plan to map out the courses you intend to take for grades 11 through 12, to ensure you have a plan to meet graduation requirements and your post-secondary goals.

Review the high school course catalog, work with your high school counselor to select your courses for 12th grade.

Create a current resume or activity log that provides a written compilation of your education, any work experience, and any community service and how the school district recognized the community service.

If taking a Career and Technical Education (CTE) course, teachers will assist students to complete verification at the conclusion of each semester to receive dual credit (high school and college credit).

If you have the College Bound Scholarship, review requirements and repledge your commitment so that you can access your scholarship.

Take the PSAT for free during the school day and potentially qualify for the National Merit and other scholarships.

Take the SAT for free during the SAT School Day Test. You will have another opportunity to take the SAT for free in October of your senior year.

Begin working on college applications and essays, if possible, and make a plan for early decision deadlines.

Start to gather documents for financial aid.

Review admission requirements for Guaranteed Acceptance Program (GAP) schools and Admission Partner schools. 

Identify an internship/job shadow of interest, participate in summer camps, summer college and/or CTE credentialed programs, or volunteer activities.

Set up tours and appointments at post-secondary institutions during non-school days, early release days, or during breaks.

Attend college and career fairs with family or caregiver.
