Earlier this summer, we got to be out and about at Foss High School, where we caught up with Mickey Traugutt, CEO of WA Patriot Construction, the contractor leading major renovations at the school. Current improvements include boiler replacement, energy-efficient lighting upgrades, and aesthetic updates such as new signage, painting, and flooring.

Founded in 2009, WA Patriot Construction grew from a veteran-owned small business serving federal clients to a company working across multiple markets, while maintaining its commitment to supporting small business utilization and community partnerships.

Renovations are expected to wrap up in September, and we can't wait to welcome students and staff back for the new school year!
